Ardor Energy was founded in 2021 by Todd Berardi, who has over 20 years in the energy drink business. Todd pioneered the natural energy drink category, beginning in 2005 with his first energy drink brand, Hiball. Hiball grew to be the fastest growing and largest natural energy drink brand when it was acquired in 2017 by Anheuser Busch.

After the acquisition, Todd founded Ardor Energy in 2021 and launched the company with Alyssa Warnock (his wife and Creative Director), Allison Wilson as VP of Sales, and Brian Niles, Photographer and Cinematographer. Most recently, Allison Soby joined in 2024 as the VP of Operations. This group of employees all worked for Hiball as well, a testament to their camaraderie and loyalty to the mission.
