1. If my partner and I have performed in a bodybuilding/figure competition, are we allowed to enter the Fittest Couple competition?

Yes, however keep in mind the body type we are looking for is that of an average person/couple that stays fit.

2. Do my partner and I need to purchase Expo tickets in order to register for the Fittest Couple Contest?

Yes, all contestants are first required to purchase admission to the Fit Expo. Registration can then be completed at the Fittest Couple booth, located on the main floor of the Expo hall.

3. Will you take pictures of contestants upon registration?

Yes, Polaroids of all contestants will be taken at the Fittest Couple booth. Therefore, please be sure to wear clothing that best displays your physique.

4. Can my partner and I perform a routine?

If you and your partner advance to the finals, you have the option of performing a routine. However, this is not mandatory and will not give you an advantage or disadvantage during judging.

5. Can I bring my own music?

Yes.

6. What should we wear?

For the competition, we recommend that contestants choose form-fitting clothing that best displays their physique. Women’s suggested attire: bikini. Men’s suggested attire: posing trunks, or form-fitting shorts.

7. How will my partner and I know if we have made it to the Sunday Finals?

Should you be selected as a finalist, our panel of judges will contact you and your partner on the Saturday evening prior to the final competition. All contestants should provide a current and accurate telephone number in order to assure contact is made.

8. If my partner and I are the winning couple, when will the Iron Man Magazine photo shoot occur?

The photo shoot will be scheduled within a couple months of the Fit Expo based upon the winners’ availability. PLEASE NOTE: In order to redeem this portion of the contest prize, winners are responsible for all travel costs including lodging.

9. How much is the prize money this year?

The winning couple will be presented with $1500 in cash.
